First thing this morning went to Pan Am, after trying to blunder through as Peterson I had to tell them my name. First she says it can’t be done then she decides it can! But they need my passport so to add to the suspicion I tell them its in the British Embassy who they then phone, the embassy denied all knowledge of it. Anyway we finally sorted it out and got 1262 Baht which will certainly help us on our way. We have eaten well today even had a drink of cheap Thai whiskey 12 baht a bottle. taken with soda its not too bad. Trip to the pictures now were flush ‘A man called horse’. Nothing from Embassy we have to try again tomorrow. Bought some temple rubbings 25 baht . (Note: Swedish Monk, Peterson gave us his return air ticket to help us on our way)
